Brek plays three short pop-up concerts outside the restaurant Café Rosenberg on Vesturgata 3.
That evening, at 8:30pm there will be a longer concert inside Café Rosenberg. Free entry to all Concerts.

The band plays i.a. songs from their album which won Folk and World Music album of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards.
The concert is held in collaboration with Café Rosenberg, witch has long become a well-known figure in Icelandic cultural life.
This event also received funding from Landsbankinn's Culture Night fund.

In their music the members of the band create an interesting but pleasant atmosphere in their instrumental playing. In addition, they emphasise on the versatile use of the Icelandic language in their lyrics.

Brek members are Harpa Þorvaldsdóttir singer and pianist, Jóhann Ingi Benediktsson guitarist and singer, Guðmundur Atli Pétursson mandolin player and Sigmar Þór Matthíasson double bass player.
